Ingredients

4 cups water

4 green tea bags

2 ripe peaches, pitted and thinly sliced

1/4 cup honey (adjust to taste)

Juice of 1 fresh lemon

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

Boil Water: In a medium-sized saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat, watching closely to prevent overflow.

Brew Tea: Once the water is boiling rapidly, remove the saucepan from heat and add the green tea bags. Allow them to steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your preference for tea strength.

Prepare Peach Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine the sliced peaches, honey, and lemon juice. Use a fork or muddler to gently press the peaches, releasing their juices and mixing with the honey and lemon.

Combine Ingredients: After the tea has steeped, take out the tea bags and add the peach mixture to the brewed green tea. Stir thoroughly to combine the flavors, and let the mixture sit for approximately 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.

Strain the Tea: Using a fine-mesh sieve, strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the peach solids, leaving behind the refreshing liquid.

Chill the Brew: Let the tea cool to room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator. Chill for about 1 to 2 hours until it is thoroughly cold.

Serve Refreshingly: Fill tall glasses with ice cubes, then pour the chilled peach green tea over the ice. If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves and an extra slice of peach for a pretty presentation.

Enjoy the Refreshment: Take a moment to savor the delightful flavors of this iced peach green tea, perfect for a sunny day or a gathering with friends!
