Ingredients

2 lbs chicken drumsticks

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (reserve some for garnish)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.

Prepare the Coating: In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the grated Parmesan cheese, plain breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, dried oregano, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until the mixture is evenly blended.

Prepare the Drumsticks: Use paper towels to pat the chicken drumsticks dry; this helps the coating stick better. Place the drumsticks in a separate bowl and drizzle the olive oil over them, tossing the chicken well until every piece is nicely coated in oil.

Coat the Drumsticks: Working one at a time, take each drumstick and roll it in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture. Gently press the mixture onto the drumstick to ensure it adheres well. Arrange all the coated drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are spaced apart for even cooking.

Bake the Drumsticks: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the coating is golden brown and crispy. For best results, turn the drumsticks halfway through the cooking time to promote even crisping.

Garnish and Serve: After baking, remove the drumsticks from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle the remaining chopped parsley over the top for a pop of color. Serve the drumsticks hot with lemon wedges on the side for a bright, zesty flavor.

Enjoy your delectable Garlic Parmesan Chicken Drumsticks as a delicious appetizer or main dish, perfectly complemented by your favorite sides!
