Ingredients

For the Steak Bites:

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Corn on the Cob:

4 ears of corn, husked and cleaned

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Salt to taste

1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro), chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Steak Bites:

    - Begin by patting the sirloin steak cubes dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Season the cubes generously with salt and freshly cracked pepper on all sides.

      Cook the Steak Bites:

        - In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter is melted and starts to bubble, carefully add half of the seasoned steak cubes in a single, even layer.

          - Allow the steak to sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, aiming for a medium-rare doneness or until well-browned. Once cooked, remove the steak from the skillet and place it on a plate; cover loosely to keep warm.

            - Repeat the process with the remaining steak cubes, adding more butter to the skillet if needed.

              Add Garlic and Herbs:

                - After all steak bites are cooked, reduce the heat to medium and return all the cubes back to the skillet.

                  - Add the minced garlic, fresh thyme, and rosemary to the skillet. Stir well to coat the steak bites in the aromatic garlic and herbs, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and the steak is warmed through.

                    Finish and Garnish:

                      - Remove the skillet from heat. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the steak bites, tossing everything together until the butter melts and is evenly incorporated.

                        - Finish with a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley for garnish. Set the skillet aside while you prepare the corn.

Cook the Corn on the Cob:

                            - In the meantime, bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Carefully add the corn on the cob and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes, or until the kernels are tender to the bite.

                              - Once cooked, remove the corn from the water and allow it to cool slightly before slathering each ear generously with butter.

                                - Season the corn with salt and a sprinkle of paprika, if desired, and garnish with additional fresh herbs.

                                  Serve:

                                    - Plate the savory garlic butter steak bites hot alongside the buttery corn on the cob. Enjoy this delightful combination of flavors and textures!
