Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup Greek yogurt (choose between plain or your favorite flavored variety)

1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your preference)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chia seeds (optional, for added texture and nutrition)

1/2 cup fruit jam (strawberry, raspberry, or your favorite flavor)

Fresh fruit for topping (optional, such as sliced bananas or berries)

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and optional chia seeds. Stir the mixture thoroughly until all the ingredients are well blended, ensuring that the oats are evenly coated with the yogurt.

Fill the Molds: Use a silicone ice cube tray or a muffin tin to mold your bites. Spoon the prepared oatmeal mixture into each mold, filling them about halfway. Press the mixture down gently with the back of a spoon to pack it tightly, leaving enough space for the jam.

Add the Jam: Carefully create a small well in the center of each oatmeal bite using a small spoon. Add approximately 1 teaspoon of fruit jam into each well, making sure the jam is centered within the mixture.

Top It Off: If you like, cover the jam with a bit more of the oatmeal mixture to seal it in. This will enhance the flavor and keep the jam from leaking out while freezing.

Freeze: Place the filled tray in the freezer and allow it to freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, or until the bites are completely solid.

Unmold and Serve: After freezing, carefully remove the oatmeal bites from the molds by gently pushing from the bottom. Store any remaining bites in an airtight container in the freezer to maintain freshness.

Serving Suggestion: For a delightful finishing touch, serve your Frozen Yogurt Oatmeal Jam Bites topped with fresh fruit such as sliced bananas or bright berries. Alternatively, enjoy them as a nutritious, satisfying snack straight from the freezer!
