2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

1 loaf of French bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

    Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, freshly cracked pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano. This spice mixture will enhance the chicken's flavor throughout the cooking process.
