2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Sliders:

8 slider buns

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 large tomato, sliced

Pickles (optional)

Sliced cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, immerse the chicken breasts in buttermilk, ensuring they are completely covered. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor and tenderness.

    Prepare the Breading Station: Set up two bowls for breading. In the first bowl, combine flour, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In the second bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs and shredded cheddar cheese until well incorporated.

      Bread the Chicken: Once marinated, remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing any excess to drip off. Dredge each chicken breast first in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating by shaking off any excess flour. Then, dip the chicken into the panko-cheese mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating adheres well. Transfer the breaded chicken to a clean plate.

        Fry the Chicken: In a deep skillet or fryer, heat approximately 1 inch of oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
