4 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (a blend of basil, oregano, and thyme)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture. Before draining, reserve ½ cup of the starchy pasta water. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Next, add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute, stirring constantly to prevent the garlic from burning.
