Ingredients

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, tightly packed

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

Zest of 1 lime

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon sea salt (adjust according to taste)

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Optional: 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped (for an added spicy kick)

Instructions

In a blender or food processor, add the sour cream and mayonnaise as the creamy base of your dip.

To this, incorporate the fresh cilantro leaves, minced garlic, lime juice, lime zest, ground cumin, sea salt, and black pepper.

If you like a bit of heat, toss in the finely chopped jalapeño. This step is optional but adds a delightful kick to the dip.

Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure all ingredients are well mixed.

After blending, taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if desired. You can add more sea salt or an extra squeeze of lime juice depending on your flavor preferences.

Once well-combined and seasoned to your liking, transfer the dip into a serving bowl. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This resting period allows the flavors to combine beautifully.

Serve your Zesty Cilantro Lime Dream Dip chilled. It pairs wonderfully with crispy tortilla chips, fresh vegetable sticks, or as a zesty drizzle over tacos and grilled meats.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4-6

Presentation Tips: Consider garnishing the dip with a few whole cilantro leaves and a sprinkle of lime zest on top before serving for an extra touch of color and freshness.
