1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized cubes

2 cups broccoli florets (can be fresh or frozen)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (plus additional for topping)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened for easy mixing

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's hot when your pasta bake is ready.

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot filled with salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions, stopping when it's al dente. After draining, set the pasta aside.

      Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once the oil shimmers, incorporate the cubed chicken. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the skillet from heat.

        Prepare the Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch the florets for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender but still vibrant. If using frozen broccoli, simply microwave them until thawed. Once cooked, combine the broccoli with the sautéed chicken in the skillet.
