Prepare the Broccoli: Begin by rinsing the broccoli florets thoroughly under cold running water. Cut them into small, bite-sized pieces to ensure even cooking, and set aside.

    Sauté the Aromatics: In a large pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the diced yellow onion and minced garlic. Sauté while stirring occasionally until the onions turn translucent and release their aromatic fragrance, about 3-4 minutes.

      Cook the Broccoli: Add the prepared broccoli florets to the pot, stirring well to combine. Sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the broccoli to absorb the flavors from the onion and garlic.
