Ingredients

6 large eggs

1 cup diced ham

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup bell pepper, diced (choose any vibrant color like red, yellow, or green)

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup shredded cheese (choose from cheddar, mozzarella, or a delicious blend)

1/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Fresh herbs for garnish (such as parsley or chives) – optional

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare the ingredients. This ensures it’s hot and ready for the frittata.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large, oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the finely chopped onion and diced bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become tender and start to soften.

Add Spinach and Tomatoes: Next, stir in the chopped spinach and halved cherry tomatoes into the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the spinach has wilted and the tomatoes are slightly softened.

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with the milk until fully combined. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Gently fold in the diced ham and half of the shredded cheese, ensuring everything is evenly distributed.

Combine and Cook: Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables in the skillet. Using a spatula, gently stir the mixture to ensure even distribution of the ingredients. Allow it to cook on the stovetop for 2-3 minutes, until the edges begin to set.

Bake the Frittata: Carefully transfer the skillet to your preheated oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is set in the center and has a light golden color on top. For a crispy finish, you can broil it for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.

Finish and Serve: Once baked, remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the frittata and garnish with fresh herbs if you like. Slice into wedges and enjoy it warm or at room temperature.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4-6

Presentation Tips: For a stunning presentation, serve slices of the frittata on individual plates with a sprinkle of fresh herbs on top and a side of mixed greens for a colorful and nutritious meal.
