2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp salt (or adjust to taste)

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 cup broccoli florets (optional, for added nutrition)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for a crunchy topping)

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to the package directions. Reduce cooking time by 1-2 minutes to achieve an al dente texture. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.

      Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream and minced garlic. Stir occasionally until the mixture begins to gently simmer. Lower the heat, and then gradually mix in 3/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Continue stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened into a creamy consistency, about 2-3 minutes. Once ready, remove from heat.
